Nothing gold can stay: The Spring 2026 collection

After months of brutal cold, snow, and ice, spring has arrived in Pennsylvania. One of the first signs that heralds this new season is always the daffodils. One morning they’re poking their heads out of the dirt, and before you know it, they’re saluting the sun even while braving the chilly air.

One of my favorite poems is Robert Frost’s “Nothing Gold Can Stay”:

Nature’s first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf’s a flower;

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay.

The bright gold may not stay, but those daffodils remind us to appreciate the changing of seasons and the brevity of that moment. I hope you love this series of bright, beautiful flowers as much as I do. They were a joy to paint, and something tells me they will be a joy to hang up on your wall and see daily. Each painting is painted on cradled wood panels that are ready to hang and do not require framing. The price includes shipping. Which one will you get?
