This daffodil had a slightly different shape and orientation, so I painted it that way—and I love it. Its color is reminiscent of early spring sunshine, and at 8×8 it is a small reminder of that sunshine that you can look at all year long. The little flecks of (faux, but who’s asking?) gold that glimmer in the light add a special touch of happiness that will make you smile when they hit the light just so.
This painting is 8×8 inches on a cradled wood panel (.75” depth) that is ready to hang. It’s varnished for light and element protection.
